Tilth - Putting Your Garden to Bed
Ages 16+
It’s time to say goodbye for the season. Be ahead of the game and let us show you how to prep your beds for the winter. Learn these organic soil-building techniques to jump start on next season while protecting your soil from the winter rains and leaching of valuable nutrients. This hands-on class will demonstrate sheet mulching and even show you what cover crops to plant now. Trust us, you need this class if you are a beginner gardener or always struggle with your garden in the spring! Protect your soil this winter - you’ll be happy you did when spring comes. Burlap and cover crop seed will be provided.
Special Considerations: Dress for the weather, this class is entirely outside.
