For a refund, you must notify the Parks & Recreation office at least three business days prior to the first class. A $5 processing fee is charged for each canceled class. In lieu of a refund, you may request a credit and the $5 fee will be waived. All credits are non-refundable once issued and must be used prior to the end of the fiscal year. Refunds under $25 are granted as credits.

What price do I pay if two different prices are listed?
The first amount is for Lake Oswego residents and school district residents. The second amount is for those people who live outside the city limits and/or Lake Oswego School District boundaries. You are a "resident" if you own or rent property inside the city limits of Lake Oswego or within the LO School District boundary. "Non-residents" are encouraged to participate in all programs. The fee for non-residents may be up to 50% above the resident rate. Some classes (golf, tennis, water sports center) charge a Fee which is applicable to both residents and non-residents. Registrations from non-residents are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis after the resident enrollment period. Lake Oswego residents and school district residents receive priority placement for all classes and waiting lists.

When you register for a class online, you will know once you pay if you are in the class or wait-listed. Your e-mail confirmation and the receipt you can print on-line also indicate your status. Our registrar monitors the class' waiting lists. If there is room available in a class, those people on the wait list will be contacted in order and enrolled on a "first-registered" basis.

*Note: When registering online, if the class you have chosen is full, you still must pay for the class in order to be placed on the waiting list. Refunds and credit vouchers will be issued to those people who have paid for, but do not get in the class.

How do I get my name on the waiting list?
You must register and pay for the class to be placed on that class' waiting list. Refunds or credit vouchers will be issued to those people placed on the waiting list who have paid, but are unable to get into a class.
